The Chicago Bears officially announced their full coaching staff for 2025 on Thursday morning, three weeks after they introduced new coach Ben Johnson.
Johnson will enter his first season with a staff of 28 assistants, including new coordinators Dennis Allen (defense) and Declan Doyle (offense), whose hirings were announced Jan. 28 along with the retention of special teams coordinator Richard Hightower.
Eight members of former coach Matt Eberflus’ staff were retained, including Hightower, tight ends coach Jim Dray, offensive assistant Robbie Picazo, defensive quality control coach Kenny Norton III, offensive quality control coach Zach Cable and director of research and analysis Harrison Freid.
Pierre Ngo was promoted to head strength and conditioning coach from an assistant role in that department. Noble Landry also returns as an assistant strength and conditioning coach, joined in that role by Allison Haley.
Johnson has a lot of work ahead as he attempts to revive the Bears. The NFL scouting combine begins next week in Indianapolis, and the Bears are busy preparing for free agency, which opens March 10, while looking ahead to their options in the April 24-26 draft.
