So… nice?
On Saturday, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish welcome the Stanford Cardinal to South Bend for the annual battle for the Legends Trophy. Personally, I think it’s a criminal offense that there is just ONE home game inside Notre Dame Stadium in the month of October. We’re talking about one of the most PRIME periods of time in the Midwest for outdoor activity, and at one of the great landmarks in college football — and we get just one game.
This weekend’s weather is going to be damn near perfect for football.
Just yesterday, there was a 55% chance for rain showers during the afternoon, but now it looks like that will hold off until Sunday. Saturday will be a wonderful time to go watch the Irish play football under the Golden Dome with partly sunny skies and a high of 72 degrees. Fans will be able to comfortably tailgate throughout the morning and afternoon, as well as just one heck of a nice day to be inside the stadium.
One game in October… enjoy.
