We know
The Notre Dame Fighting Irish are preparing to take on the SEC Champion Georgia Bulldogs in the Sugar Bowl for a chance to move on to the semifinals in the college football playoff. While the weather played a big part in the story surrounding Notre Dame’s win over the Indiana Hoosiers — as well as the other three first round games — it will likely never be mentioned this week.
Yes of course… this game is indoors under the lights of the Superdome.
Still, the Superdome is a big stadium, and that means tens of thousands of people from all over the country will be stopping in to watch these two teams on the battlefield. With the game set to kickoff close to 9:00 PM, that is MORE than a full day of tailgating for fans — which is decidedly OUTDOORS.
In short, fans will have fantastic weather to party in (which just makes the fact that this game is in a dome the least unattractive part surrounding this matchup). Lots of sun and a high in the mid-sixties after a week of mid-seventies with thunderstorms.
