Little changes
The Notre Dame Fighting Irish are now 6-1 after taking care of the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets and will now travel to New York to face the undefeated Navy Midshipmen.
The depth chart for the Irish is virtually unchanged.
OFFENSE
Freeman spoke this week about Jordan Faison and that he’s still getting back to being healthy. The Irish need to become more explosive and, Faison can definitely be a big part of that. Billy Schrauth is working his way back to playing. He’ll be available this week, but his role has not yet been defined.
DEFENSE
The only change here is that Jason Onye’s name has been replaced by Gabe Rubio — which was the case last week. No word about any possible return for Onye. We will continue to monitor that situation — along with which defensive backs actually see most of the playing time this week with an option offense across from them.
SPECIAL TEAMS
Mitch Jeter is still questionable, and if he can’t go it will be Zac Yoakam again. As you can see… #26 Chris Salerno is the holder (until he’s not).
