With the 2024-2025 men’s college basketball season in the books and the Florida Gators crowned as the national champion, many are already looking forward to next season and what it might bring.

SB Nation readers were asked who they thought will win next year’s championship, and by a very slim margin, the voters have the Purdue Boilermakers as the team to win it all in 2026.
According to FanDuel Sportbook, Purdue has very good odds for next season (+1400), but the favorite is the Duke Blue Devils (+1000) followed by the Houston Cougars (+1200).
The Notre Dame Fighting Irish? Well… the odds listed for the men’s basketball team by FanDuel is a very rough +20000 (for obvious reasons). The Notre Dame women’s team, however, is listed at +1000 with the favorites being the South Carolina Gamecocks at +250.
