Hot
The Notre Dame Fighting Irish return to South Bend this weekend to take on the Miami of Ohio Redhawks. Last week, the Irish easily took care of the Purdue Boilermakers 66-7, but the stunning loss to NIU lingers around the program like a stale fart in late night bedroom.
In many ways the game on Saturday is kind of like a home opener redo. The Irish welcome a team from the MAC — and it’s going to be hot as hell.
If you’re going to the game, there won’t be much fall-like air hanging around. When the tailgating lots open up, fans should already expect it to feel like 70 degrees, and the temperature will steadily get up to around 90 around lunch.
You should probably make sure the drinks are cold, and a slam a water every once in a while.
ALSO be aware that if you plan on going to the Midnight Drummer’s Circle, there may be a thunderstorm creep in around 10:30 PM, but it should be clear in about an hour.
While the disappointment of the early season loss will be hard to shake off — Notre Dame is still very much alive to host a playoff game. Act like it.
