Sanity restored
On Wednesday evening, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish finally put the rumors to bed concerning their uniforms in the upcoming first round of the college football playoff against the Indiana Hoosiers.

All week long, “reports” from media wannabes suggested that the Irish will be wearing black uniforms on Friday. All week long, fans have digitally thrown hands over the entire ordeal.
It was just all so ridiculous. To think that Notre Dame would cast aside it’s traditional look for something completely out of the box while the entire college football world is watching — it’s just too stupid to keep thinking about.
Look, I’m all for alternate uniforms and I’m especially drawn to virtually any version of the “greens” (except that 2016 Shamrock Series abomination) but in this moment in time, there really is no alternate route to take rather than wearing the blue and the gold.
Also… love the gold names on the back.
