After an abysmal season on the court, Notre Dame basketball fans should have already been well aware that the transfer portal would come into play this OFFSEASON — and not for the better.
Notre Dame forward Tae Davis announced his decision to enter the transfer portal on Sunday.

Davis had a breakout year for the Irish and was one of the leading vote-getters for the ACC Most Improved award. Of the few bright spots this past season, Davis’s development was certainly one of the better ones.
Micah Shrewsberry does have an incredible recruiting class coming in next season, but this is still a big blow to the program.
