PLAYOFFS EDITION
How’d We Do Last Week?
As a refresher, I feature the most interesting, most wildly inaccurate, and most accurate takes for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish from the previous week. Let’s get started!
Most Wildly Inaccurate
Sorry Goldrush, no FGs were made on that day. Hopefully he bounces back because……it’s absolutely necessary.
Most Interesting
Nailed it. Love was absolutely dominating until he got hurt. He is the key if Notre Dame wants to make a run.
Most Accurate
Calling for 2 pick 6’s is legit. Shoutout Farsdahl.
And now onto the take for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and the Indiana Hoosiers
Cold Take
Mitchell Evans leads all pass catchers in catches, yards, and touchdowns
Evans is coming into form the last few weeks, totaling 11 catches and multiple touchdowns. He has the trust of Riley Leonard and they have been developing some real chemistry at the right time. Indiana is going to stack the box to stop the run, leaving nickels and LBs lined up on Evans. Evans will have some some very clutch moments and will make his money on 7-12 yard routes and some great YACs. This is a massive game for Evans. Also, Randy blessed him…

Hot Take
Bryce Young with 2 game changing plays.
Young has been very close this year, but has not made too many big plays on Defense. On Special teams, he has been an absolute menace. In this game, he will have a huge play in both phases. I see a blocked punt or kick….mostly because who the HELL will be able to block him on special teams in this weather. Trust me, hitting him or trying to block this freight train will be a nightmare in the cold. He also will have a big play off the edge with a massive sack and or strip sack. Kurtis Rourke is not very mobile….and the pressure from Mills and Cross will attract all of the attention……and Young takes advantage.
Bryce Young does it again
