The Wildcats will try to get a massive ranked win.
After a much-needed week off following a 24-5 loss to Washington, the Wildcats get an even tougher test in their first Big Ten home game. The Indiana Hoosiers waltz into Evanston ranked at No. 23 in the nation behind a high-flying offense and an underrated defense. Indiana has won all five of their games by at least 14 points, and the Hoosiers’ 48.8 points per game mark is third in the nation. For Northwestern’s defense, it’ll be all about shutting down IU quarterback Kurtis Rourke, who’s seventh in the FBS in passing efficiency.
The Wildcats have matched up with the Hoosiers just once in the last eight years, a 34-3 loss in Bloomington in 2019. Here’s how to watch and listen to the first matchup between these two squads in Evanston since 2016.
