Freshman point guard Skyy Clark has taken a leave from the Illinois basketball program, the school announced.

Clark is averaging 7.0 points and 3.7 rebounds for an Illinois team that has lost 3 of 5. They are coming off a 73-60 loss at Northwestern on Thursday.
He initially committed to Kentucky last spring, but decommitted and pledged to Illinois.
