The Chicago Bears are still enjoying the fruits of their labor following their iconic trade with the Carolina Panthers two years ago, where they sent the No. 1 pick (Bryce Young) to Carolina in exchange for a haul that included receiver DJ Moore, offensive tackle Darnell Wright, cornerback Tyrique Stevenson, punter Tory Taylor, a 2025 second-round pick still to come and this year’s No. 1 pick, quarterback Caleb Williams.
Williams has been hailed as the top prospect in all of college football, and now he comes to Chicago in hopes of reviving the position, following the likes of Justin Fields, Mitchell Trubisky, and Jay Cutler, and leading the Bears to its first championship since 1985.
But to win the Super Bowl, you need to make the playoffs first. To make the playoffs, you need to play well against your division. And the NFC North has become one of the better divisions in the league.
