The Chicago Bears signed running back D’Andre Swift to a three-year deal worth $24 million to kick start the negotiation period of free agency.
Swift joins Chicago as their new starting running back, giving them a dynamic playmaker who also thrives in the passing game. Swift is coming off a career year with the Eagles, where he rushed for 1,049 yards with 4.6 yards per carry and five touchdowns. He also provided a threat as a pass catcher, hauling in 39 catches for 214 yards and a score. Swift earned his first career Pro Bowl nod in 2023.
We spoke to Glenn Erby of Eagles Wire, who gave us the rundown on what we can expect from the Bears’ new running back and why he could be a good fit for Chicago.
