The first wave of NFL free agency is in the books, where there have been plenty of signings and trades across the league.
Bears general manager Ryan Poles has been quite busy, improving the roster with some big additions, including wide receiver Keenan Allen, running back D’Andre Swift and tight end Gerald Everett. But he also hasn’t overspent, making some smart, under-the-radar signings to add depth to the roster.
But there’s still a long way to go before the start of the 2024 NFL season, where there are still some intriguing names on the free agent market. That includes former Bears like safety Eddie Jackson, offensive lineman Cody Whitehair and edge rusher Yannick Ngakoue.
