Where in the NFL is Justin Fields going to land?
It’s a question that gets more uncertain with each passing day as another NFL team signs or trades for a veteran quarterback not named Fields.
For what it’s worth, the Chicago Bears aren’t actively shopping Fields right now — not until they’ve done their due diligence on Caleb Williams. The team has only met with Williams for 15 minutes at the NFL Combine with a Top 30 visit scheduled after his pro day on March 20.
Unfortunately, the timing of it all is hurting the Bears — and Fields.
While some top potential contenders for a Fields trade opted to sign veteran quarterbacks in the opening days of free agency, Thursday started a string of trades for quarterbacks who shouldn’t be getting traded before Fields. The Cardinals acquired Desmond Ridder while the Seahawks landed Sam Howell.
At this point, NFL fans and analysts alike have no idea what’s going on or where Fields is going to be playing in 2024.
