Taylor Doll spoke with
In her latest Making Monsters podcast, Taylor Doll is joined by Dan Hope, who covers Ohio State football for Eleven Warriors, and they chat about several Ohio State Buckeyes who may be drafted this year. Most Chicago Bears mock drafts have at least one Buckeye going at some point, so she learn a little more about offensive linemen Josh Simmons and Donovan Jackson, defensive linemen Tyleik Williams and JT Tuimoloau, running backs Quinshon Judkins and TreVeyon Henderson, and so many more.
If the Bears don’t go running back at ten overall, I think Henderson would be a great fit in the second round, and Hope gave Taylor some thoughts on his play at Ohio State.
“I think the biggest thing with TreVeyon is he’s that home run hitter,” Hope said. “He’s that guy who, I mean, you saw it in the Cotton Bowl against Texas, one of the last plays before halftime. He takes a screen out of the backfield, 75-yard touchdown, totally changes the game. And I think that’s the number one thing TreVeyon is going to bring to an offense, and I mean, you mentioned that Ben Johnson offense. You think of Jameer Gibbs and what he was to that offense in Detroit. I think TreVeyon is a guy who could bring some of those similar qualities…”
“And I think, you know, one of the biggest things we saw from TreVeyon in his senior year, he always had that big play ability, but I think he really became a more complete back in that last year. I think, particularly his pass blocking really, really improved. And I think that gives him that ability to play on any down in the NFL.”
