Grading the 2023 Bears draft class at the bye

12 games have come and gone for the Chicago Bears during the 2023 season and it’s been a year that many didn’t expect to see. The Bears (4-8) struggled mightily out of the gate and have only recently started to pick themselves up and play more competitive football. With just five games to go, they need to finish strong in order for the coaching staff to warrant sticking around beyond January.

A few players who will be sticking around, however, are many of the rookies drafted back in April. The Bears selected 10 players in the 2023 NFL Draft and most of them have played significant snaps throughout the season. Some have been Week 1 starters, while others have shined in limited opportunities. How have they performed as a whole, though? Now that there’s a break in the action, it’s the perfect time to re-evaluate the team’s rookies as they head into their final stretch of the season. Here are our grades for the Bears rookie class at the bye week.
