LOS ANGELES (WGN) — The Los Angeles Rams’ will be without wide receiver Cooper Kupp when they take on the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field Sunday, according to The Athletic’s Jourdan Rodrigue.
Kupp, who injured his ankle during the Rams’ Week 2 matchup against the Arizona Cardinals, was also held out of Los Angeles’ Week 3 win against the San Francisco 49ers.
In two games this season, Kupp has 18 catches for 147 yards and a touchdown.
The injury to Kupp is the latest among a slew of injuries to the Rams’ roster. Since Aug. 27, Los Angeles has placed 11 players on injured reserve or the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) List, meaning nearly a dozen players have been sidelined with injuries for a minimum of four games through three weeks of the NFL season.
Those players include TE Tyler Higbee (Aug. 27 – knee), DT Larrell Murchison (Aug. 28 – arm), CB Tre Tomlinson (Aug. 28 – undisclosed), OG KT Leveston (Aug. 28 – ankle), OT Conor McDermott (Aug. 29 – undisclosed), CB Darious Williams (Sept. 6 – hamstring), OT Joe Noteboom (Sept. 11 – ankle), OG Steve Avila (Sept. 13 – knee), WR Puka Nacua (Sept. 15 – right knee), S John Johnson III (Sept. 18 – shoulder) and OG Jonah Jackson (Sept. 18 – shoulder).
On top of the Rams players placed on IR and the PUP List, there is also Kupp and tight end Davis Allen on the injured list who are listed as out for Sunday’s matchup against the Bears.
Chicago takes on the Los Angeles Rams Sunday at Soldier Field, with kickoff set for noon CT.
