CHICAGO (WGN) — Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams has earned his first accolade since joining the NFL as the league’s No. 1 overall pick last April. He took home GQ’s fan vote for the Most Stylish Football Player Monday.
The competition played out bracket-style on GQ Sports’ Instagram page, where football fans could cast their votes on each head-to-head matchup, deciding who inevitably landed as the most stylish player in the NFL.
Williams won five head-to-head matchups in the 32-player bracket, which included him besting Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray, Houston Texans wide receiver Stephon Diggs, GQ’s 2023 Most Stylish Football Player and Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeVonta Smith, teammate Jaylon Johnson in GQ’s final four, and Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson in the championship round.
Johnson bested Los Angeles Rams safety Quentin Lake, Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins, and Eagles running back Saquon Barkley before being bested by Williams.
The former Heisman trophy-winner’s sense of fashion has been on display since his college days at the University of Southern California.
In a 2023 GQ profile, Williams rocked a variety of designer fashion and accessory items, which included a red Jil Sander skirt, banana yellow Gucci jumpsuit, and a see-through, perforated mesh tank top from New BedStuy, among a vast number of other designer fashion ensembles.
As for awards for performances made on the field this year, the 2025 NFL Honors ceremony will take place Thursday, Feb. 6, at the Saenger Theater in New Orleans, three days before the Chiefs and Eagles kick off for the Big Game.
