The Chicago Bears (2-7) have released their inactives ahead of their Week 10 prime-time game against the Carolina Panthers (1-7), where Chicago is looking to get back in the win column after another disappointing loss.
As expected, quarterback Justin Fields is inactive after previously being ruled doubtful. That means it’ll be rookie Tyson Bagent making his fourth NFL start — and second in prime time — against the Panthers.
Cornerback Tyrique Stevenson, who was downgraded to questionable with an ankle injury, is officially active. Linebacker Tremaine Edmunds and right guard Nate Davis were ruled out before Thursday night’s game.
Receiver Velus Jones Jr. is a healthy scratch, which doesn’t as too much of a surprise given his recent struggles and receiver Equanimeous St. Brown returning from injured reserve.
Here’s a look at the Bears’ inactives:
- QB Justin Fields
- DB Terell Smith
- LB Tremaine Edmunds
- DL Dominique Robinson
- WR Velus Jones Jr.
- FB Khari Blasingame
- OL Nate Davis
Also, a look at the Panthers’ inactives:
- OLB Brian Burns
- WR Laviska Shenault Jr.
- WR DJ Chark
- CB CJ Henderson
- G Nash Jensen
- TE Stephen Sullivan
The Bears and Panthers kick things off at 7:15 p.m. CT on CBS.
