The Bears have released their first injury report for their week 12 game against the Minnesota Vikings.
As the Chicago Bears prepare for this week’s game against the Minnesota Vikings, both teams have released their first official injury report for week 12.
Overall, this is the shortest injury report the Bears have had in many weeks. Four players were listed as DNP (did not practice), and one player was limited.
The players listed with the DNP designation were: OL Kiran Amegadjie (calf), OL Ryan Bates (concussion), DB Elijah Hicks (ankle), and RB D’Andre Swift (groin).
OL Teven Jenkins was limited with an ankle injury.

It’s unfortunate to see Swift on the report. The Bears are lucky in having a talented second running back in Roschon Johnson, though it’d be to the team’s advantage to have both men healthy on Sunday. We’ll have to see how Swift progresses throughout the rest of the week.
The Bears’ OL remains a major concern. Bates just returned to action and now finds himself on the injury report once again. Jenkins’ battles with injuries have been a constant theme throughout his career unfortunately, and the rookie Amegadjie has often found himself on the injury report this year as well.
With Elijah Hicks on the report, it makes even more sense now why the Bears have been making moves with safeties this week. The team brought back Adrian Colbert for the practice squad after working out five players for the spot on Tuesday. The list of players who worked out for that spot included Terrell Edmunds, Tremaine’s brother.
Minnesota listed six players on their injury report on Wednesday, including some big names. TE Josh Oliver (wrist/ankle) was listed as DNP. DL Jonathan Bullard (toe) and QB Sam Darnold (foot) were listed as limited. RB Aaron Jones (ribs), OLB Gabriel Murphy (knee) and TE Nick Muse (hand) were full participants.
The Bears take on the Vikings this Sunday at Soldier Field in Chicago. The game takes place at 12:00 p.m. (Chicago time).
