There’s some good news and bad news on the Bears injury front.
The Chicago Bears received some good news on their injury report as both starting tackles, Braxton Jones and Darnell Wright, were full participants and have no injury designation for Sunday’s game against the Green Bay Packers. Also back after missing last week is defensive end Darrell Taylor and linebacker Noah Sewell.
But it wouldn’t be the Bears without some bad news, as starting left guard Teven Jenkins has been ruled out with an ankle injury. Head coach Matt Eberflus said that Ryan Bates would get the start in his place.
Here’s the presumed starting offensive line from left to right: Jones, Bates, Coleman Shelton, Matt Pryor, and Wright.
Reserve tackle Kiran Amegadjie (calf) has been ruled out.
The Bears list two players as questionable: defensive end Montez Sweat (ankle) and safety Tarvarious Moore (concussion).
Both players practiced in full today, and Eberflus said he’s optimistic that Sweat will be good to go on Sunday.
The Packers list two reserve players as out: Running back MarShawn Lloyd (ankle/hamstring/abdomen) and offensive lineman Jordan Morgan (shoulder).
Back up defensive tackle Colby Wooden (shoulder) is doubtful, and reserve safety Evan Williams (hamstring) is questionable.
Starting cornerback Jaire Alexander, who has a knee injury, is also questionable. While he did practice all week in a limited fashion, some on the Packer beat believe that he will not play.
