Full injury report for the Bears and Lions ahead of their Thanksgiving matchup.
With the game tomorrow, the Chicago Bears and Detroit Lions didn’t have their usual versions of practice this week. Gameplan installs and walkthroughs were the norm, all to keep them fresh for the early kickoff on Thanksgiving. With today being the final day of “practice,” the teams issued their gameday injury lists.
Chicago has their smallest injury report in some time, with only two players listed. Both safety Elijah Hicks (ankle) and offensive lineman Ryan Bates (concussion) are ruled out. Hicks didn’t practice all week per the estimated report, and Bates got in a couple of limited work days, but he won’t see Bates until he clears concussion protocol.
Just like they did last week, the Bears have elevated safety Adrian Colbert from the practice squad.
The Lions’ injury report isn’t much bigger, but it is more significant, as they will be without starting left tackle Taylor Decker and starting cornerback Carlton Davis.
They also list running back David Montgomery (shoulder) and wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown (knee) as questionable. As Bears fans know, Montgomery is as tough as they come, so I’ll bet he plays.
Detroit also placed receiver/return specialist Kalif Raymond on injured reserve today.
