The Chicago Bears are currently set to go on the clock at the 2025 NFL Draft with the tenth overall selection, and if you look at the recent slate of mocks, no one knows what they’re going to do. Obviously, the first nine picks will have a big sway in the value of what’s left, which could lead to a trade back if they can find a willing trade partner.
Whether it’s at 10 overall, a trade back, or maybe even a trade up if they get aggressive, which position do you think the Bears will draft first?
Our friends at FanDuel Sportsbook have some odds on this very question, and they have running back as the favorite. Here’s what they list for the “Position of Chicago Bears First Drafted Player.”
- Running Back +230
- Offensive Lineman +260
- Defensive Lineman/Edge +360
- Tight End +600
- Linebacker +700
- Cornerback +1300
- Safety +3200
- Wide Receiver +4200
- Quarterback +15000
If they’re sticking at ten, I think tight end is a good chance, because I think Ashton Jeanty and their top graded linemen will be off the board. However, a trade back target is anybody’s guess.
