The Chicago Bears wrapped organized team activities this week at Halas Hall, including Thursday’s final session open to the media.
Rookie quarterback Caleb Williams had a rough practice during last week’s open session, but he bounced back during the final voluntary workout ahead of mandatory minicamp next week. Rookie wide receiver Rome Odunze, who missed last week with hamstring tightness, was also back at practice.
According to the media members in attendance, Williams was nearly perfect during the 7-on-7 portion of practice against the first-team defense. But, it’s worth noting, cornerback Tyrique Stevenson was the only member of the starting defense participating during team drills. Still, it sounds like Williams has made strides as OTAs come to a close.
