The Chicago Bears defense is looking to make a statement this season, and there’s no shortage of talent for a unit that their offensive teammates have already hailed as a top-five defense in the NFL.
When looking at the secondary, in particular, they could very well have one of the best groups in the league, including at safety. Jaquan Brisker is back for his third season while the team signed All-Pro veteran Kevin Byard to replace Eddie Jackson, who was released earlier this offseason. They also added Jonathan Owens in free agency to serve as a key reserve.
