Those Phoenix Suns know how to ruin a party, don’t they? A day ago the Los Angeles Lakers and the Cleveland Cavaliers were both undefeated. That would have made Bronny James’ appearance in Cleveland much more spectacular. In any case, all reports point to Bronny having his second appearance during this NBA season, and it will happen in Cleveland. The Cavaliers and the Lakers play on Halloween Eve, October 30th.
The Stage is Set for Bronny James’ Cleveland Appearance
If you want proof that Bronny will appear in Cleveland, just listen to LeBron James talking about it. Born in Akron, Ohio, LeBron is a homegrown hero in Cleveland. He began his career with the Cavaliers and helped the team win its only championship title. After the game against the Phoenix Suns, LeBron was asked about the possibility of playing alongside Bronny in Cleveland. This is what he had to say:
“It’s gonna be special. He was born in Northeast Ohio, I was born in Northeast Ohio. We’ve got a lot of ties back here obviously. So it will be special to be there with him, have that moment obviously. A lot of footage of him running after games, dribbling the basketball, shooting those hoops, you know, so, it’s gonna be pretty cool”.

Bronny will travel with the Lakers during the five-game road trip, after which he will go to the G League. As of today, the franchise’s G League affiliate, South Bay Lakers does not have Bronny listed on their roster.
Can You Get a Ticket?
As of October 29th, there are still a few tickets you can find from third-party vendors for Bronny’s potential appearance in Cleveland. You can get your tickets through Seat Geek, Vivid Seats, StubHub, Viagogo, or Ticketmaster. The price ranges between $70 and $90 for the cheaper tickets. Of course, if you like premium tickets, they go up and cost more than $1,500 for the third row from courtside.
Why Isn’t Bronny on the G League Roster?
Some fans might be confused, but Bronny has a contract that allows him to play for the Lakers and their affiliate without being on the roster. Bronny James has a standard contract and he will remain on the main roster even while in the G League. Had he signed a two-way contract, he would have appeared on the roster for the South Bay Lakers.
What Can We Expect from Bronny?
While there are many signs that the Bronny James Cleveland game will happen, we have to be reasonable. At the moment, the Cavaliers are undefeated, and they look like a team ready to take on the next step. Bronny got his minutes against Minnesota when the Lakers led the way with 20+ points. It is hard to envision such a scenario against the Cavaliers.
Lakers coach J.J. Redick will certainly try to appease LeBron and give him a special moment with his firstborn son. But if the game is tight from start to finish, it will be a challenge to squeeze a minute or two. In his first game, Bronny played three minutes, missed two shots, and grabbed an offensive rebound. He was -5 during that period.
