Scottie Pippen made waves last week when he leveled shocking criticism at his former teammate Michael Jordan. But while Pippen may have a lot of bitterness towards Jordan now, one comment from The Air Man shows that it’s not mutual.
Fans have been recalling and sharing a quote from Jordan during the ESPN docuseries The Last Dance, where Jordan made it clear how he felt about Pippen. He stated point blank that he didn’t win without Pippen and considers him his best teammate ever. He went the extra mile of saying that Pippen should be mentioned whenever he is.
“I didn’t win without Scottie Pippen, and that’s why I consider him my best teammates of all time… Whenever they speak Michael Jordan, they should speak Scottie Pippen.”
Fans on Twitter are lamenting that the two don’t see eye-to-eye anymore given how much Jordan respects Pippen:

“Real talk who tf was Pippen before linking up with Jordan became a champion with MJ after MJ Pippen again wasn’t s-” one user wrote.
“This why I don’t get how people say the last dance s- on Pippen and how Pippen say he don’t get credit,” wrote another.
“I don’t know why y’all think the last dance doc slandered him lol I don’t remember it that way,” a third said.
It’s hard to know where all of this vitriol towards Jordan came from, but Pippen isn’t finding a lot of support over it.
