Lonzo Ball on Stephen Curry: ‘Is Stephen Curry officially the most influential player of his era? As I’m pondering it, I would have to say yes. Especially the way younger people are playing—even the way the NBA is played now. Warriors and him, they really started all them threes. I don’t think that record will ever be broken. But I think it’s more realistic for somebody to catch that than Bron’s scoring record. Bron’s longevity, how many years he’s been playing, and he’s still playing—I don’t think anybody’s catching that record. That would be my answer for which record will never be broken. Second, I would say that 100-point game. Q. But did it really happen? That’s the question we have to answer here. Lonzo Ball: We’re gonna assume it did. I’ve seen some Wilt Chamberlain tape recently… somebody got to have that game, bro.’

Steph Curry said his recent injury reminded him of that hard fall on his tailbone in Houston back in 2021. But this one isn’t as bad. Deep contusion as opposed to hairline fracture in 2021.

NBA star Stephen Curry has a deal with a Random House Publishing Group imprint that you could call a three-point play. The 11-time All Star with the Golden State Warriors has agreed to release three books through One World, beginning Sept. 9 with “Shot Ready,” which Curry is calling a “personal reflection” on his life on and off the court. The book includes more than 100 photographs. “I want to use my story to connect with people of different backgrounds and help them solve the puzzle of their own potential,” Curry said in a statement released Saturday through One World. “This book is a celebration of the work that happens in the shadows, the creativity that fuels every move, and the mindfulness that keeps me grounded. I hope ‘Shot Ready’ inspires readers to embrace their own journey, trust the process, and always find joy in the pursuit of excellence.” -via ESPN / March 29, 2025

During his absence, Ball praised White and Giddey for their individual performances and team leadership to buoy the Bulls through this positive stretch of the season. “I was super proud of them,” Ball said. “I was watching the games. I was screaming at the TV, man. That’s probably the best games of this year, the best stretch for sure. It’s been an up-and-down season, but it’s a great time to get hot right now. … With Coby playing how he’s playing, I feel like we can beat anybody.” -via Chicago Tribune / March 26, 2025
Although he will require another week to return to in-game conditioning, Ball participated in Wednesday’s practice at the Advocate Center, which included a round of 5-on-5 scrimmaging. “I’m happy to be back out there,” Ball said. “I just want to get a little bit more comfortable, want to get back into the playing rhythm. I’ve been out, I don’t want to come back too early and just do something that doesn’t need to be done.” -via Chicago Tribune / March 26, 2025
