Josh Giddey had interest in a trade to the San Antonio Spurs this offseason before he was dealt to the Chicago Bulls, sources tell Jake Fischer of Yahoo Sports. Giddey was traded by the Oklahoma City Thunder to the Bulls in June for Alex Caruso.
Giddey, who is represented by Daniel Moldovan and Alex Saratsis, is eligible for a contract extension this offseason. If Giddey and the Bulls are unable to agree to terms, he will become a restricted free agent in 2025.
In 80 games last season, Giddey averaged 12.3 points, 6.4 rebounds and 4.8 assists in 25.1 minutes.
