CHICAGO (WGN) — With the surprise firing of head coach Michael Malone, one sports odds maker thinks the Chicago Bulls is the top landing spot if the Denver Nuggets were to trade the three-time NBA MVP.
Quick disclaimer—trading Jokic would be pure insanity on the part of the Nuggets if it were to happen, but we did just see the Dallas Mavericks send Luka Doncic to the Los Angeles Lakers for Anthony Davis and a half-eaten bag of chips.
So, anything can happen.
Any hypothetical trade would also have to wait until this offseason. The NBA trade deadline was Feb. 6, meaning any deal to move players back and forth would have to wait until the conclusion of the NBA Finals, which is scheduled to begin on June 5 this year.
Bookies.com’s Adam Thompson crafted the hypothetical odds on where Jokic could land next. Here is a list of the nine most likely teams to land him, plus the odds of him going somewhere else in the field.
