CHICAGO (WGN) — The Chicago White Sox have announced their promotions schedule for the 2025 MLB season, which will help commemorate the 125-year anniversary of the team’s founding.
Several limited-edition items and a first-ever Sunday Bobblehead Collector’s Series top the list of fan giveaways scheduled for the 2025 season at the recently-rebranded Rate Field.
Paying homage to White Sox history
A number of items will pay tribute to iconic moments in franchise history, including the first Major League Baseball club collaboration with vintage apparel provider Homage, which will feature a 1914 Baseball World Tour Shirt on Saturday, May 24 vs. the Texas Rangers (first 15,000 fans who enter the ballpark).

Mark Buehrle’s Replica Statue giveaway continues fan celebrations for the 2005 World Series Champion and five-time American League All-Star’s scheduled statue unveiling at Rate Field, just one day prior on Friday, July 11.
The organization’s Babe Ruth & Al Simmons Figurine celebrates the inaugural MLB All-Star Game, held at Comiskey Park on July 6, 1933, during the Chicago World’s Fair. The game featured White Sox outfielder and All-Star vote leader Al Simmons, third baseman Jimmy Dykes and major league legend Babe Ruth, who hit the first home run in All-Star Game history.

Fan-favorite multicultural celebrations and beloved signature giveaways also are highlighted by the debut of the organization’s first-ever Puerto Rican Jersey giveaway in conjunction with an inaugural Puerto Rican Heritage Night, held Friday, August 29 vs. the New York Yankees (first 10,000 fans who enter the ballpark). Season-long homestand promotions fans have come to know and love return in 2025. Firework Fridays promotions will light up the sky with awe-inspiring postgame shows every Friday home game this season (excludes June 27). Additionally, Family Sundays, presented by Coca-Cola, will offer specially priced tickets and a Kids Run the Bases promotion on Sunday home games during the 2025 season.
