It was another exciting night down on the farm with big wins from Winston-Salem and Kannapolis. Nick Nastrini was fantastic on the mound for Charlotte throwing 6.2 innings allowing just one run on three hits. Wilfred Veras ripped a deep two-run home run giving Birmingham the lead in the sixth inning, and Rikuu Nishida’s three runs led Kannapolis to victory.
