Friday night had some stellar pitching performances across the farm, except for Charlotte’s bullpen, which allowed 12 runs in Sean Burke‘s return to Triple-A. However, Jake Eder struck out eight in six and a third scoreless innings for Birmingham, and Grant Taylor got seven punchouts in just four innings of work down in Kannapolis, helping the Cannon Ballers to a shutout victory.
