My alphabeticalish player-by-player review — @soxnerd style — of the 2024 White Sox continues with DREW THORPE:
Right-hander recorded two starts of at least six shutout innings in his first seven Major League games.
He joins Cisco Carlos, who did it three times in 1967, Jack McDowell, who did it twice in 1986, and Brandon McCarthy, who did it twice in 2006, as Sox pitchers to accomplish this feat.
