The Chicago White Sox have completed the second day (rounds 3–10) of Major League Baseball’s 2024 First-Year Player Draft, selecting three right-handed pitchers, three outfielders, one catcher, one infielder.
The White Sox last night selected left-handed pitcher Hagen Smith from the University of Arkansas with the organization’s first pick (fifth overall), shortstop Caleb Bonemer from Okemos (Mich.) High School with their second pick (43rd) and left-hander Blake Larson from IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla. in the competitive balance round B (68th).
