*May 9, 1984—Ended the longest game in Major League history with a home run in the 25th inning in the White Sox 7-6 win over Milwaukee at Comiskey Park. The home run off Chuck Porter came in the game’s 8th hour and 6th minute, on its second day (it started on May 8 and was suspended) and on the 753rd pitch of the contest.
