Luis Robert Jr. represented the Chicago White Sox at the 2023 MLB All-Star game in Seattle, Washington this past week. Luis Robert Jr. was selected as a reserve for the American League. He is the first Sox center fielder (primary position) to make the All-Star Team since Chet Lemon in 1978–79. Luis Robert Jr. also competed in the Home Run Derby and advanced to the semi-finals. In the first round of the Home Run Derby, Luis Robert Jr. defeated Adley Rutschman with 28 home runs.
