Opening Day starter Sean Burke makes his last appearance of Spring Training
The White Sox have four shots to get to double-figures in wins this spring, beginning today at the Cincinnati Reds. This bulletin board lineup is inserted to let you know that this afternoon is what you see is what you get: The entire White Sox bench is minor league emergency players. Either we’ll see closer to full games for the starters, or if a blowout it will become a de facto Spring Breakout game.
Four pitchers are backing Opening Day starter Sean Burke, who would be expected to go at least five innings, four if particularly inefficient.

Two bubble relievers will showcase in this game, southpaw Fraser Ellard and righty Justin Anderson.
Brandon Drury was removed from the lineup with a bruised hand, so Brooks Baldwin moves up to the No. 2 spot, Bobby Dalbec trots in from left field to take Drury’s spot at first, and Corey Julks gets the start in left.
This is a no-broadcast game, although Reds radio provides a feed if you have MLB TV or other means of accessing it. First pitch is at 3:05 p.m. CT.
