The trucks are packed in Glendale, and the South Siders are ready to say goodbye to sunny Camelback Ranch and head north to open the 2025 MLB season. Although the Good Guys will embark on what will, in all likelihood, be their third consecutive 100+ loss season, no amount of animus for the sorry, dispirited state of the franchise can diminish the pure joy that comes with baseball’s return from hibernation!
While the wicked witch of winter still envelopes Chicagoland in its cold and dreary clutches, the forecast for Opening Day looks like a balmy 50º. Not bad for a Thursday in late March! But before we get too far ahead of ourselves, we have one last exhibition game to play!
The Athletics, as they are to be known now until officially making the move to southern Nevada, take on your Chicago White Sox at 2:05 p.m. CT.

We’ll be back with a recap of all the action from Glendale after the game. Enjoy!
