White Sox fans can expect to see a new face on broadcasts this season.

Chicago Sports Network’s Brooke Fletcher will be joining the on-air team as a reporter throughout 2025. Per MLB.com’s Scott Merkin, she will be a fixture at all home games as well as select road games, doing in-game reporting along with pregame and postgame interviews.

Baseball has always been a huge part of my life, and now it’s coming full circle. I’m beyond excited to join the @whitesox broadcast team—this organization has meant a lot to my family, and covering them is truly special. I feel incredibly blessed and can’t wait to get started.… pic.twitter.com/LEDmVFpQhW

Fletcher began her career at ESPN before joining Bally Sports Detroit in 2018, serving as a host and reporter for the Tigers, Red Wings, and Pistons. The Michigan Emmy award winner eventually left the Motor City in 2022 to co-host The Rally on Bally Sports, while also joining Apple TV+ for its Major League Baseball broadcasts and the Big Ten Network for college football. Fletcher joined the newly established CHSN at its inception and currently hosts The Chicago Lead, the network’s cornerstone show that airs each weeknight.

As highlighted by Merkin in his recent article, Fletcher is also no stranger to baseball. She has plenty of family connections within the game to accompany her fandom.

“Her father, Scott, played six years for the White Sox among his 15-year Major League career. Her brother, Brian, spent the 2015 campaign as an outfielder for the White Sox Double-A Birmingham affiliate, while her husband, Jake Cronenworth, is an integral part of the San Diego Padres. Her brother-in-law, Gordon Beckham, started for seven years with the White Sox in his 11-year-run, while her cousin, Michael Barrett, is a well-known player to Cubs and White Sox fans alike.”

After the news of her addition to Sox broadcasts, Fletcher took to social media to share the following message:

“Baseball has always been a huge part of my life, and now it’s coming full circle. I’m beyond excited to join the White Sox broadcast team—this organization has meant a lot to my family, and covering them is truly special. I feel incredibly blessed and can’t wait to get started. Little Brooke would be proud.”

Along with Fletcher, Connor McKnight will be another newcomer to CHSN this season. The former ESPN 1000 personality was recently hired as a White Sox employee and will serve as a team insider for the newly established network. Similar to Fletcher, McKnight is expected to report from the field, appear on CHSN shows, and assist with play-by-play duties on both the television and radio side.

Despite this being the team’s first season on CHSN, many other familiar names will return. John Schriffen and Steve Stone will continue to lead the way in the booth, with Chuck Garfien making his return in studio. Producer Chris Withers will also be back in the truck, providing some continuity when games start up again in the coming weeks.
