My alphabeticalish player-by-player review — @soxnerd style — of the 2024 White Sox continues with STEVEN WILSON:
If it weren’t for the World Series champions, Wilson would have had a perfect season in interleague play. In 2024.
The only run the right-hander surrendered to a National League team came in his outing against the Los Angeles Dodgers on June 24 at Guaranteed Field.
Other than that, Wilson held National Leaguers Washington, St. Louis, Colorado, Arizona and the Cubs scoreless in seven appearances covering seven innings.
His 1.17 interleague ERA was the lowest on the Sox staff for pitchers with at least two innings.
