For fans attending Wrigley Field for the Cubs homer opener Friday afternoon, there are some numbers to keep in mind.
The Wrigley Field fan text messaging service is available in the ballpark to report issues in the park without leaving your seat at the game.
Fans can also report suspicious activity by sending a text message to 773-839-0282 with the keyword “Friendly.” Include your location and a description of your issue or concern. Standard message and data rates may apply.
Cubs hotline
The home game day hotline number, 866-4-CPD-TOW, is operational before, during and after games.
The hotline is operated by the Chicago Police Department to assist neighborhood residents with non-emergency issues relating to Wrigley Field during Cubs home games.
For all emergencies, call 911.
Fans can follow the Cubs on social media (@Cubs) for the latest information and updates.
Scooter parking pilot
To improve mobility and enhance pedestrian safety around Wrigley Field, the Chicago Department of Transportation (CDOT) is launching a shared e-scooter parking pilot program.
Building on last year’s efforts to better manage bike and scooter parking during Wrigley events, the initiative introduces designated parking hubs for shared e-scooters and restricts shared scooter riding and parking in high-traffic areas. The goal is to create a safer, more orderly experience for visitors and residents.
