CHICAGO — The Cubs released their promotional calendar for the 2025 season on Tuesday, featuring special ticket offers, theme games and gate giveaways — including five new bobbleheads.
Fans can take advantage of the promotions when single-game tickets go on sale Friday, Feb. 21.
Here’s a look at the Cubs’ 2025 promotional calendar:
Bobbleheads
The five new bobbleheads this season will feature Cubs players Michael Busch, Shota Imanaga and Pete Crow-Armstrong, as well as Cubs legend and Baseball Hall of Famer Greg Maddux and team mascot Clark the Cub.
Bobbleheads are handed out to the first 10,000 fans to enter Wrigley Field on these dates:
- Saturday, April 19: Pete Crow-Armstrong
- Saturday, April 26: Clark the Cub
- Sunday, June 1: Shota Imanaga
- Sunday, June 22: Michael Busch
- Sunday, Aug. 3: Greg Maddux (1988 rain delay bobblehead)
Gate giveaways
The Cubs will have nearly 20 gate giveaways this season, including the return of #BudFridays, featuring an assortment of vintage Cubs items, such as an umbrella hat and Ryne Sandberg look-a-like flip-up sunglasses.
The #BudFridays giveaways are available to the first 5,000 fans, 21 and older, who enter Wrigley Field though the Budweiser Bleacher Gate on the designated game days.
Other gate giveaways include the usual Opening Day magnet schedule, a Dansby Swanson flow headband, a Blues Alternate Jersey giveaway and a Bluetooth speaker to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Cubs radio broadcasts.
Theme games
In addition to the annual Pride Celebration, the Cubs will host an additional two new theme games this season: Camp Cubs and Oktoberfest.
The dates are as follows:
- Thursday, June 12: Pride Celebration
- Wednesday, July 2: Camp Cubs
- Tuesday, Sept. 23: Oktoberfest
For theme games, fans must secure the special ticket offer (see below) to receive the corresponding promotional item. More details on each theme game will be released ahead of the dates.
Special ticket offers
Fans can purchase various special ticket offers throughout the regular season to do things like show school pride, show their love for their pets, or support military members, first responders, health care providers and educators.
For the first time this season, the Cubs are holding a Mental Health Awareness special ticket offer to benefit Champion Forward, the nonprofit of 2016 World Series MVP Ben Zobrist.
Each special ticket offer includes a ticket to the selected game and a promotional item specific to that special ticket offer.

The Cubs open their 2025 regular season in Tokyo on Tuesday and Wednesday, March 18 and 19, against the defending World Series champion Los Angeles Dodgers. The home opener is scheduled for Friday, April 4, against the San Diego Padres.
