One more game between these teams will decide who moves on to the Division Series.
The Royals took care of the Orioles in their Wild Card Series and will face the Yankees in a division series beginning Saturday.
The Tigers swept the Astros out of their Wild Card Series and will face the Guardians in a division series beginning Saturday. Incidentally, that makes this the first time since 2016 that the Astros will not be in the LCS.
The Padres defeated the Braves in their Wild Card Series and will face the Dodgers in a division series beginning Saturday.
That makes three AL Central teams in the division series round and… the division as a whole finished 35 games under .500. Fun!
That leaves one Wild Card game tonight between the Mets and Brewers for the right to face the Phillies in a division series beginning Saturday.
