Per Brad Biggs, the Bears are releasing WR Collin Johnson with plans to bring him back to the practice squad. Johnson, 26, is a former fifth-round pick by the Jaguars in the 2020 NFL Draft out of Texas. Bears Releasing QB Brett Rypien
According to Tom Pelissero, the Bears have released QB Brett Rypien as they begin their roster cutdown. Rypien, 27, wound up going undrafted out of Boise State in 2019 before signing a three-year, $1.755 million contract from the Broncos.
